On 9th November 2017, our MP Victoria Atkins became the new Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Home Office. Her portfolio oversees specifically Vulnerability, Safeguarding and Countering Extremism.

Lincolnshire’s Standard Bearers were today welcomed at the Houses of Parliament by a number of the County’s Members of Parliament, at an event hosted by Karl McCartney MP. These were Rt. Hon. John Hayes (South Holland & The Deepings), Victoria Atkins (Louth & Horncastle) and Martin Vickers (Cleethorpes).
Victoria Atkins MP has welcomed today’s announcement by the Education Secretary of her reforms to end the historic unfairness in the school funding system. A national funding formula will be introduced from 2017/18.
Victoria met Chairman and Director of the Lincolnshire Branch of the British Holiday and Home Parks Association (BH & HPA), Gareth Rowland, at the Association’s conference at the QE2 conference centre in Westminster last week.
