Terry Barrs and John Ward have officially been selected to stand for the Conservative Party in the Chapel St. Leonards By-Election to be held on Thursday 15th October 2015.
Terry and John who are both local residents and ex-Parish Councillors were selected after resignations on Chapel St. Leonards Parish Council and bring with them a wealth of experience.
Terry and John have launched themselves in to the campaign and having already delivered an introductory leaflet are now looking to deliver their Election Address. Speaking about the campaign John said 'We want to do this campaign properly. We have taken the time to organise a well designed leaflet and campaign and it is a sign of how we will conduct ourselves if elected, with proffesionalism.'
John and Terry are standing on a number of issues including the pullover, Chapel Observatory and sound financial managment of the Parish Council Precept, but most importantly making sure the Parish Council is run the right way. Terry said 'it is important to listen to the residents of Chapel St. Leonards and combine that with our experience we know we can make a positive difference.'
The Election is being held on Thursday 15th October and there will be a number of campaign days and sessions in the run up to the election. If you'd like to get involved and help then please contact the Louth & Horncastle Conservative Association office.
